Greg Palast is the investigative reporter for the Guardian, BBC television, Democracy Now and Rolling Stone who broke the story of how George Bush stole Florida in 2000 by purging thousands of innocent Black voters. He's the author of four NYTimes bestsellers including The Best Democracy Money Can Buy and Billionaires and Ballot Bandits.

He also studied economics under Milton Friedman.
his newest book is HOW TRUMP STOLE 2020

Over 90,000 voters who were purged in GA were sent postcards warning them that they had to register again.

The story of this election is busting the steal.

Jim Crow had a huge impact on the Jon Ossoff/ Purdue race. It wasn't enough to save the Donald but it may have saved Mitch McConnell

Obama knew about the steal during his election

The MSDNC line is that there is no such thing as a rigged election in America" and that is freakin' false.

There is still a way Trump could steal the election through the electoral college, at the state level.

Voter suppression definitely affected Senate races and helped Mitch McConnell.

There is something that can be done to reverse the effects of voter suppression in Georgia before the January Senate race runoffs.

This podcast appears at a perfect time.

It ran as Sen. Lindsey Graham says dead people registered and voted in PA. He also says the GOP must fight the apparent election of Biden or Republicans will never win another presidential election.

Of course, we await proof of voter fraud charges, and whether limited flaws are even enough to give Trump a second term.

But Republicans don't seem to care; they are gearing up for a fight, which Graham says is needed to confront the threat created by Democrats voting by mail.

So I hope Dems have been listening to investigative journalist Palast, who has been warning about illegal voter roll purges and ways Trump can steal the 2020 election.

Biden's party may yet need to fight the steal attempt. If it comes to a battle, the reasonable, mainstream Democratic Party should also push back hard about years of GOP voter suppression that has denied citizens the right to vote.

Greg, Jeff Brown also has some research on the electoral process. As you have said it is corrupt in many ways and he gives Trump some credit for shaking it up. The establishment is not without corruption too and I know you know that because I have followed your fine investigations for a couple decades.

An interesting article. A compendium of articles covering most of the current fraud accusations. I note that this only calls out Biden's corruption and doesn't mention the fraud committed by the Republican party. Still, some might find the links it follows worthwhile.

The author did point to this Glenn Greenwald article that is worth reading independently.

The charge that dead people registered and voted in PA is interesting. Can the Trump campaign prove this allegation made by Sen. Graham?

If so, is it enough to call into question all vote-by-mail ballots in PA, and possibly other states that went for Biden?

Proof of dead people registering and voting also raises another question. Are the Trump people or their supporters behind this malign effort?

After all, Trump, months ago, charged that Republicans would never be elected president if we practiced widespread voting by mail in this country. The very same dishonest president also told supporters in North Carolina to vote twice to test the system -- once in-person and once by mail.

Excellent podcast. And appropriate warning from Palast that it ain't over until it's over (Yogi Berra), and that Article 2 could bite us in the ass yet. You can imagine him pursuing it and getting away with it, due to the separation of fed and state. T just needs to stop one state from certifying by Dec 8 and things could change.

"I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is thiswho will count the votes, and how." -- Josef Stalin, 1923, as quoted in "The Memoirs of Stalin's Former Secretary" by Boris Bazhanov (More commonly paraphrased, "its not who votes that counts, its who counts the votes")

"Election-rigging is nothing new. We've been conducting elections for more than a dozen centuries, and at one time or another, every system ever designed has been rigged." Douglas W. Jones, University of Iowa associate professor of computer science.

"We're a flawed species. The best in us shows up in our desire to make our government "of the people, by the people and for, the people." The worst in us shows up when, no matter what the system, somebody figures out how to cheat." Chapter 4, "A brief History of Vote-Rigging." Bev Harris, Black Box Voting, 2004.

"The election is over. We won." (Reporter's voice - "How do you know that?") "Its all over but the counting. And we'll take care of the counting." - Congressman Peter King before the 2004 election on video:

Election theft in progress? Call 911:

1- Trump Administration won't certify Biden as president-elect deserving of transition authority.

2- AG Barr orders federal prosecutors to investigate voter fraud and related issues. Head of this unit responds by resigning.

3- President Trump fires Mark Esper, the defense secretary who refused Trump wish to put troops on the streets this summer to quell uprisings and protests.

4- GOP leader of PA House calls for audit of election in his state. He also wants certification of the vote delayed, pending the audit. Without certification of the vote, Biden does not get the state's electoral college votes, which helped him win the election.

5- Trump lawsuits, with no evidence, pending in multiple states.

What's next?

I recognize Bernard Sanders, you know, the guy Quid Pro Quo Joe stole the primary from. I hope Putin and Xe do the same.

Unless comments need approval before shown something happened when I first posted this under a new account that was successfully processed due to Murphy's Law (I accidentally used an email account I have never used unless it is a mistake).

Palast and Brad Friedman have been writing about election fraud and corruption since the beginning of time. (Only a slight exaggeration). We know the 2000 and 2004 elections were stolen. Obama admitted that he knew the 2008 election was going to be stolen but he managed to get a higher turn out.

If it weren't so serious it would be funny to read how the pundits are all bending over backward to justify the way the opinion polls got it wrong again. You can't poll for fraudulent votes.

Doesn't anyone else wonder in amazement how NV stopped counting its votes so that PA could continue to "find" just enough Biden votes to put him over the top?

Of course there was fraud and corruption on a massive scale in this election. If Trump manages to eek out a win it will be because he negotiated a deal with The 400. The 400 don't want it to be known that they own the voting machines that are so haphazardly put together that they've all been shown to be hacked at one time or another. There will be a "deal" and it depends on whether Biden or Trump gives enough to the right alliance(s) of the 400 to finally bring this farce to a conclusion.
