....."No serious proposal to take the money out of politics, or even reduce its tightening grip on the body politic, will emerge from Tampa or Charlotte, so the sounds of celebration and merriment are merely prelude to a funeral cortege for America as a shared experience. A radical minority of the superrich has gained ascendency over politics, buying the policies, laws, tax breaks, subsidies, and rules that consolidate a permanent state of vast inequality by which they can further help themselves to America's wealth and resources.
"Their appetite for more is insatiable".....
And their agents are the Republican Party and the Democrat Party, the first scary and the second scared, both obeisant to the super-rich, each hypnotizing separate partisan hordes, with each side in sham battle for the benefit of the same masters of your destiny and mine as well as that of 300 million Americans who provide the bodies to go after foreign swag to the tune of "Support Our Troops."
The positive message is that the citizen-voters desperately need to snap out of it and toss out the political shysters of both persuasions if we are to "Support America." Let's get real now: the transparent rapacity and idiocy of Romney Inc will in all likelihood be rejected by the majority of voters for the perceived "lesser-evil" dodgy tap dancers of the Obama Regime, who will continue the wars and threats of more for the benefit the same corporate masters while persisting in the refrain that they can't stop cascading domestic abuse because the Republicans won't let them.
No, voting for the "winner" is not a realistic way to stop the abuse, not foreign, not domestic. If endorsement of this notion is needed, just ask any of the "good Germans" of the late Thirties, early Forties -- any of those who just happened so painfully to survive the experience.
So yes, it is indeed realistic that the abuse -- from one poisonous persuasion or the other -- will continue and progress through the next four years, but there's an opportunity here for the conscious: cast the PROTEST VOTE THIS TIME, then ATTACK THE ABUSE as it cascades upon us over the next four years, and prepare the electorate to support the REAL change (not the bullshit version of 2008 electioneering) in 2016 -- yeah, four years off, but perhaps just barely enough time to rid our governance of the treachery that now besets us.
I will personally vote for Jill Stein, that is if she's PERMITTED to be listed on the Florida ballot or if I can write her in. But no, I do not solicit your support for my candidate. What I do implore of you is to cast a vote for decency, a vote for other than the con of America's two major political misrepresentations. Then get to work for the next four years to get and DESERVE a decent government.
The first order of business starting right now, however, is to help out in awakening the Partisan Zombies.....................
