Will The Real Christian Please Stand Up!

WILL THE REAL CHRISTIAN PLEASE STAND UP!

There are a lot of Christians all over the world., especially in the United Statesof America, yet they call themselves by many names.  That is the  reason whyI ask, will the real Christian please stand up.  So many people belong to totally different religions, but yet all consider themselves Christians.  We have Catholics,Protestants, Methodist, Evangelist, Pentecostal, Presbyterian, Mormon, Adventist, Baptist, the list goes on and on. So please, will the real Christian please stand up!

Some believe that women should remain silent in the church, while others believe that women should be allowed to preach. Some are for pro-life, others are for pro-choice.  Yet every one of them considers themselves a Christian?  If it sounds confusing to you, believe me, you are not alone.  Most people can describe what a Jewish religion is, or a Muslim religion is, or many other religions. Yet Christianity is one of the most different and most misunderstood religions on earth.  Mainly because no one knows who the real Christians are, or no one really knows what Christianity is. Now it is said that Christianity suppose to be, let me say again, suppose to be based upon Jesus.  However, when we read the bible is there any single religious scholar, scientific scholar, or anyone at all, who can say they fully understand the bible? Let me give you an example. We all know that Jesus said that there is none good, but my father in Heaven. Most of us, I hope, also know that Jesus said that no man can serve two masters, for if you are to love one, you must hate the other. However, later the bible tells us of how Jesus said I am the way and you should praise me just as you praise my father.  Does the bible tell us that Jesus died for our sins.  Did Jesus ever say, people I am going to die for your sins, so for now on you can sin all you want and still go to Heaven, just remember to say Forgive me Jesus or Hail Mary after each sin.

Of course not, what Jesus said was that in order to get into Heaven you must obey the Ten Commandments and to the rich man he told him he should give to the needy. Ask yourself seriously, have we changed Jesus saying from that to, You should  not obey the Ten Commandments and just ask for forgiveness and give to the church.  As you read  your bible it may speak of the church as being a place where women should not speak, but nowhere does it say that you  should give money to the church.  When the bible speak of tithes it speak not of the church, but of the market place. The place where the have and have-not gathers so that, like Jesus said, the have give unto the needy, the have-not.  Yet billions of dollars pass through our churches every day while homeless poor people sleep on our streets.

Is this what Jesus wanted?  Did not Jesus himself, say unto the people, that there will be many who shall come in my name and shall deceive you!  Do you as a Christian understand why Jesus said that? When you see millions of dollars being spent to build tall cathedrals and big over-size churches with 50 acres and yet see homeless people starving in the streets.  Do you ever take the time to think of what Jesus said.

Are you too busy giving all of your money to the rich church instead to God's

needy.  Blessed are the poor in spirit for thy is the Kingdom of Heaven.

Have you ever asked yourself, how did all of these Christian religions get started

in the first place?  Ask yourself, of course not your own Christian religious group, but some others are they really about Jesus or just a money-making racket.

When you read about the priest molesting small children, when you read about the adulterous preachers  mongering in their congregations. When you heard of all these clergies reaping the church tithes.  Remember what Jesus said, there willbe many who shall come in my name and shall deceive you! Before you think I am just speaking out about the many Christian religions, let me assure you, that  I am not a Christian, but I am not religious either. No I am not an atheist, but one who strongly believes in God and understands him more after reading a book called Jesus Is No Excuse.  The book explains that Jesus was a Savior, not an Excuse for one to use to commit sin. There is so much sin in the world today and many of those who committed it, feel it is all right, as long as they are Christians.

Go to any jail in America and say, will all who are Christians raise your hand and see how many hands fly up. Ask  yourself is this what Christianity is all about.  Committing sin and asking Forgiveness.  Well Christianity may be about that, but I assure you that Jesus is not! After reading the book Jesus Is No Excuse, I still do not understand religion, but now I do understand God.  The book explains the real reason for the crucifixion, what the resurrection was, why Jesus appeared in another form, why he told the people to pick up serpents and drink all deadly things and much, much more.  You will never understand Jesus, you will never understand what God ask of you, until you have read this book by St. James.  Only then will you be able to say like the book, I once was blind, but now I see.
