I am tired of having lawyers (or former law students) as USA president. Both Romney and Obama are lawyers. George W. Bush was studied law at the BA level. Bill Clinton studied law.
I have been watching Michio Kaku's video on THE UNIVERSE IN A NUTSHELL. In the introduction, Michio Kaku lays out his belief (based on experience) that everything that gets done and creates progress appears to require the hand of a physicist.
Why aren't some physicists running America instead of lawyers--or instead of MBA holders or actors or football players or astronauts?
In watching Michio Kaku's program, I believe that eventually we will not need to have coal, oil or wars. We just need the imagination and political-economic power of those who really understand physics and the big picture. This is the key to making everything smaller and reducing our overall energy needs etc. We could work the whole world out of poverty by employing energy appropriately.
