Why Are We So Big-Headed?


 "The whole idea of evolution  continues to occupy a lot of my current thinking.
 One question recently arose: If the Darwinian principles of natural selection, survival of the fittest and even the more recent "genetic flow", still apply, then why do humans have brains that we only use about 10% of? How could so much grey matter come into being that we have no practical use for at present?"
