Wayne also has been on top of the assassination, by Houston police, of former CIA Houston station chief Roland Carnaby, a Lebanese-American agent who may have tipped off Hezbollah to an assassination attempt on the leader of Hezbollah by a joint Israeli-US operation designed to trigger war with Iran.
Carnaby is a conservative with ties to the Bush I administration, but has been as angry as the rest of us about the usurpation of the federal government by Dick Cheney and the Israeli Mossad and its interests.
It is fairly clear now that Carnaby's assassination was part of an Israeli effort to clean-out any pro-Hezbollah factions operating within the US because of their potential to swing public opinion against Israeli interests. Or their perceived interests.
Given that Israel and Syria are sitting down with Turkey to discuss their interests, it's safe to assume that Israel has its work cut out for them as far as controlling US press and information dissemination prior to an engagement with Iran.
