Vote Leverage

Message Arthur M. Howard-(Scotoni)

I cast my first vote for Truman in 1948 and have voted Democratic for the past 62 years, but now I find that I, a committed New Dealer, am a living fossil.

To vote for the lesser of two evils is to be complicit in the crimes of evil and this I cannot abide.

What to do?

Write off the two leading presidential contenders and concentrate on the congressional races since Congress and the Senate are essential for the success of any president and he is forced to woo them.

The Green Party is running an updated New Deal platform. In a close congressional or senatorial vote, a minority party such as the Greens would have LEVERAGE, power far greater than their actual numbers, LEVERAGE to turn the party back to the policies of its greatest years.
