Firstly, I'd like to state that I sincerely hope -- as a result of the initiative by all responsible for this Article -- that Mr Treacy will get the justice he deserves in connection with the "over 31 prosecutions (which) were maliciously concocted by the gardai (Republic of Ireland Police), dpp (Director of Public Prosecutions) and the courts service with the sole purpose of damaging him".
However, and unless there has VERY recently been some MAJOR change within the core workings of the Republic of Ireland Government, I don't believe there is the SLIGHTEST chance of Mr Treacy receiving justice in connection with his difficulties, through the use of: COMMISSIONS OF INVESTIGATION ACT 2004.
I've just had a very quick look at the text of this Act and notice the following statement under
Part 2 ("Establishment, Membership and Independence of Commissions") 3. -(1):
"Following a proposal made by a Minister with the approval of the Minister for Finance, the Government may, by order, establish ..." (Copied from http://www.irishstatutebook.ie/2004/en/act/pub/0023/print.html )
We have, and have had for years, a Government (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial) which is criminally dedicated, and 100% supportive of COVERING UP Government (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial) Crime: NOT investigating it.
Consider for example, that I am STILL waiting for a reply from Barrister John Glynn (Principal Lawyer at Patrick Hogan & Co, Ballinasloe, County Galway) to the registered letter I sent to him on April 3rd 2007.

To date, I have not even received an acknowledgement of receipt from Ballinasloe Law Firm Patrick Hogan & Company for the registered letter referred to at the www address just above.
