Politicos Americanos & the Dead Democrats Society

Message Rafe Pilgrim
A Floridian friend writes:  "I hope Romney picks Rubio for VP so we can get rid of him as senator."

Sorry, my friend, Rubio need not resign his senate seat to run for another position, e.g. Romney's V.P.  We would only "get rid" of Rubio if he and Romney won the national election, which is not a very pleasing prospect.  The Florida voters chose Rubio; it's only right that they suffer with him.  Such is the deserved fate of a state electorate dominated by zombie partisans, red necks and retired old farts (a.k.a. the I've-Already-Got-Mine Gang).

Wanna get really bizarre?  Consider the fact that Joe Biden, an incumbent  Delaware senator running as Obama's V.P. candidate, SIMULTANEOUSLY ran for RE-ELECTION as Delaware's senator, just in case his boss man were to lose don'cha know.

The overriding curse of fate in the upcoming national election remains:  With either Obomber or Mittens winning, the people and humanity will continue to suffer from lack of decent leadership at the helm of America Inc.  With Mitt, we'll get screwed from the Right, and with Obomber, we'll get screwed from...well...the Right!  Be aware, the tap-dancing rhetorical assassin from...who really knows?...is no FDR, nor will his cabinet officers and closest advisors (e.g. Geithner, Holder, Summers, Immelt) ever be accused as actual Democrats, that is as favoring John Doe over Daddy Warbucks.  You vote for Obomber -- you get his reactionary consigliere.

So again, my friend, sorry, for America too...really!......Rafe Pilgrim
