Not Zionist Fairy Tales: Deconstructing Engelmayer's rationale

In my review of the movie Defiance, where the real-life Bielsky brothers successfully rebelled against the Nazi genocide in Poland, I reached out to the Belski family and they responded with a kind email from the Holocaust museum in Florida.

My Empathy Model and Capital Structure wiki documents hinge on two societal forces, Capital and Native, where the Native is natural and collaborative, and Capital is synthetic and exploitative. The underlying psychology for these forces isexistence, or lack of, emotional human communication, another term for empathy. Empathy is Native and tribal, and easily explains the millions of years of human evolution, as well as much animal evolution. The antithesis of empathy is a dissociation caused when a condition of missing empathic neurological constructs allows humans not only to be inhumane as a result of this dissociation, but also makes them emotionally isolated enough to allow for the societal and environmental destruction necessary for capital exploitation and expansion.

Added to this underlying neurological model is a more recent hypothesis that directly links hate to paranoia. I found text on a "talk page" of the Wikipedia showing this relationship--"the world is out to get us, so we must fight back," and even before I had documented it I was able to implement it positively in a hostile employment situation. I combined Christian forgiveness with words that were meant to mitigate paranoia when dealing with supervisor who had "set me up" with a wall of lies, and it worked! Things went smoothly from then onto the end of the project.

With respect to Nazis, one should have no difficulty guessing where my model will point: a history of extermination for exploitation where Nazi capital decimated Jews and other natives--including some my family.
The Bielskys were native in the extreme; they built a fair-sized village completely hidden in the forest, peopled it with escapees from the ghettos, and defended it against Nazi invaders. The Bielskys attempted to remain in the region after the war, but they were driven out by Soviet antisemitism--but not by the Poles. They escaped to Israel, and eventually settled in Brooklyn, New York.

But for conflictive situations presently in play, such as the war in Palestine and Israel described below, application of the model is more complex because it has to be a form of therapy to be beneficial. Making the situation even more complicated is the Internet; because there is no chance for eye-to-eye contact, there is no hope for a therapeutic resolution. Direct human contact is necessary for empathy to work, and with it therapy. All the model can provide in this case is an idea of how paranoia is a cause for violent hate.

I deconstructed Engelmayer's article by retaining all of his words in their contexts and regrouping them into basic categories. I attempted to preserve his meanings, and I "wikified" them into easy-to-grasp concepts; what a programmer might think objects, or even as byte-code. My next step should be to reconstruct the words into my own prose, though this I may never do because I like this type of sparse structure.

Engelmayer seems to support the idea that Palestinian lands are really for Jewish immigrants, and that these lands should be taken from Palestinians for Jewish settlement through annexation--which in all practicality, is war. He offers so many rationalizations for hating Palestinians and other Arabs that I am forced to believe that he supports violence against them even though he does not specifically advocate it in his article.

He also states that the World is out to get Israel, stating that even Israel's supporters are its enemies because of they are "ignorant" of his perception of the truth. Upon his paranoid misconceptions, I hinge my case for the "paranoia leading to hate" component of the empathy model. His paranoia that the people of the World are out to get him and his culture is nearly exactly as I first found it with a different, though tiny, group on the Wikipeida.
The Deconstruction:

Someone with Helen Thomas' views
would not be inclined to report the truth:
  • She is an intolerant bigot for saying that "Jews should go back home to Poland and to Germany"
  • Her extreme hatred for advising Jews to go home is rooted among people who openly support Israel
  • These people do not know truth and repeat the lies of anti-Semitic, anti-Israel racists

The World
is inclined to vilify Israel:
  • One way street when it comes to Jews and Israel
  • We never see international calls for Jewish justice
  • No calls for return to or compensation from the lands Jews fled

The World will not treat Israel justly because those who defend Israel do not know the truth:
  • pro-Israeli public figures
  • newsmakers
  • celebrities
  • advocates

They fail the Jewish History test when they say that Jews have no legitimate claim to the Holy Land:

Mike Huckabee recalled the Holocaust
  • Former Arkansas Governor
  • Strong supporter of Israel

Whoopi Goldberg implored for a peaceful solution
  • Alluded to a time when Jews came to the region

Joy Behar reminded of horrors at Auschwitz and Buchenwald

The Jewish establishment has failed to do its job and is to blame for misperceptions:
  • forgotten or ignored Middle East demographics
  • kidnap of the truth
  • subversion the dialogue
  • false rhetoric

Israel's supporters and historians need to do much better:
  • Present the truth
  • Purge the spin

The Mavi Marmara incident has:
  • Given the anti-Semites new ammunition
  • Triggers a calling for Jews and Israel change the dialogue

1948, Not Zionist fairy tales:
  • 1948 opened the gates for Jews to return to Israel
  • Jews never left Land of Israel
  • Jews have always been in Israel

Jews left their material homes and fled to join up with "Palestine" Jews in their true ancestral home to live freely and create a Jewish state.

In 19th-20th Century, Jews came to Israel from:
  • Russia
  • Germany
  • Iran
  • Iraq
  • Syria
  • Algeria
  • Yemen
  • Libya

Reasons for Israeli immigration:
  • expelled
  • persecution
  • pogroms
  • anti-Jewish riots

Israelites crossed to the west bank 3,200 years ago

Jews lived in:
  • Jerusalem
  • Jericho
  • Nablus
  • Nazareth
  • Beersheba
  • Beit Shean

Jews were there during:
  • Babylonian exile
  • Persian rule
  • Roman thumb
  • Byzantine
  • Ottoman
  • Mandatory Palestine

  • 67 Jews killed
  • Population was forced to leave

  • 20 Jews killed

Christian crusaders eradicated both communities

United Nations resolution for two separate Palestinian states was accepted by Jewish Settlement:
  • Jewish
  • Arab

Seven Arab states invaded and occupied Arab Palestinian for 19 years after Six-Day War.
  • Palestine Liberation Organization founded in 1964 three years before the first Israelis set foot in the West Bank and Gaza
  • Jordan denied the Jews access to their holy places occupied the West Bank from 1949 through 1967

"Three no's" after Six-Day War in June 1967 Arab states and the PLO:
  • no peace
  • no negotiations
  • no recognition
