I expected a lame religious argument when I started listening to the below video where Aaron Dykes interviews Alfred Adask. I love colorful use of language. There is an actual legal challenge to food and drug laws, possibly making them null and void if humans are classified as animals in the text of the laws.

If we are classified as animals, the same as chickens, do we have the same rights as chickens to have our beaks cut off, to be force fed genetically modified and tainted food, to be detained by the hundreds of thousands, for future use by the mega corporate chicken processing plants?

I expand on the this theme with more text and links, and re-posted excerpts of the Shays Rebellion and Whiskey Rebellion historical events [here], scroll down.
