If a blogger, writer of a letter to the editor printed in the newspaper, or someone writing an email critical of Connecticut Governor M. Jodi Rell or police misconduct or brutality in the State of Connecticut, your name can be placed on the police, "Secret Enemies List", where you can be arrested on sight. The revelation came when Rell staffers use google to find those who are writing about the Governor. Negative comments are sent to the police for malicious investigation, retaliation, and to arrest targets on sight. Does this sound American to you?
Ken Krayeske was the Green Party campaign manager for Connecticut Governor. He was arrested on sight after being placed on the secret police enemies list. So, in America, can political rivals exercising free speech be arrested on sight? Should there be legislation to prevent politicians and their staff from sending names and text of those exercising free speech to be targets of malicious acts of law enforcement and to be subjected to the rubber stamping of US kangaroo courts?
