FEMA plays Big Brother

It seems that FEMA is still doing a heck of a job in Louisiana. According to an article last week in the Baton Rouge Advocate, guards are keeping watch over the FEMA trailer parks that house displaced victims of Hurricane Katrina. The guards are prohibiting journalists from talking with the hurricane victims unless a FEMA public relations representative is present. [Read story.] "FEMA" is an acronym for "Federal Emergency Management System". Their job is to manage emergencies. So they're managing this emergency almost a year later by silencing the victims. What are they afraid of? What do they not want the public to hear? -----
