Freddie Mac (NYSE:FRE - News; NYSE:FRE - News), the second largest provider of U.S. residential mortgage funding, on Friday posted a loss of $5 billion in the third quarter and predicted it would need more government support amid a "prolonged deterioration" in housing....Source Reuters
The good news is that productivity is up which means that corporations are doing more with less workers. Obviously, this makes for bigger profits for Big Business but doesn't do anything for the people, which now are unemployed at a real rate of about 20%. This may all sound negative but someone has to be brave enough to speak out for their fellow countrymen.
But then the people are never a consideration to corporate America and the government they own.
So as the government throws trillions into the hands of the few financial elite, the people of America worry that health care for all is socialist. Americans don't want anyone but the very wealthiest to benefit from the wealth of the country.
