He was excited, so happy I wrote down their hours that they are open till late night so he would know he could still call them that day, even wrote directions and their address just in case he did not have a phone because I know what that is like. When doing all of that, my neighbor across from him noticed us, and he added that he use to work for that furniture company. My friends new smile just got bigger, I went back home to my RV knowing I did well.

It seams all the jobs in this new town are really horrible jobs, but the owners of them sure are good at pretending to be nice people. I scratch my head as I tell you all this, but it is the truth. So I am going tomorrow to visit a man four hours away from here, and he is giving me some dignified employment for the day. I am scared because I have never left my dogs for this long, but I made a list of all the things I need to do. My friend who is giving me this work, I have not talked to him for two years, and when I called him day before yesterday, he said he was happy I called. I could hear in the tone of this voice he was not pretending. It felt good to know another is excited to be around me! This helped give me the energy I needed to make today all happen with the food, the phone, and helping my neighbor with the coke, and the job. Gosh, so many things are all connected, I hope I did not leave anyone out.

I think everyone needs to make a list of the people who help them.

I have lived in the suburbs of my large city, always finding a place nearby to escape to be with the wildlife, or travel with my wonderful step father to enjoy all that is offered in the small town he grew up in. I got to have a nice education (more...)
