Comparison of the Alien and the Prometheus

I think Ridley Scott who creator of The Alien legend, aims to repeat this legend with a new story in Prometheus queue.

I have watched again The Alien and I have seen story line is parallel with Prometheus. But The Alien has a story what has mean itself inside. So everything is receivable. But Prometheus covers some details for second queue.

Commercial spacecraft the Nostromo is directed by the Mother in The Alien I. Team of spacecraft works for transporting but they are worked for coming down to another planet for researching. Some members of team are going out in this planet what has some important interesting details. There is a fossil of another kind out of human. It is massive and it is sitting in his command center. Walls of center and some roads are like spine and nervure bones of human.

Alien attacks this members in planet and they are coming inside to spacecraft after hard discusses with commanders of spacecraft. Because members may be sick and they must be in quarantine instead of coming inside of spacecraft.

Member of team Kane, who injures by alien, procreates a little alien in spacecraft and Kane dies. Mother who directs spacecraft from the world uses a man for transporting alien to the Nostromo and to the world. The man who has been attacked by alien has made love with doctor. And doctor has made cesarean herself in The Prometheus. It was not clear who was father of alien. The hero was doctor. She had blocked nuclear attack to the world.

The mother is bad icon, she uses the spacecraft team for transporting an alien (Powerful kind out of the human) and a man procreates an alien, he dies in the Alien. But hero is a young woman, Ripley. She doesn't save the world, she blocks transporting of alien to the world. This may be blocking fascist utopist scientism but also Ripley revenges from these scientists for all friends who had been killed by alien.

Script of Alien is available for cold war conjuncture (1979): Transferring some kinds from space. The Prometheus is available for globalism conjuncture: Defending the world against attack of some aliens.

The Prometheus is presented as the movie which inspired from The Alien. Yes this is so clear that we can guess events a few minutes ago. I think Scott didn't change events but he changed comment of kinds what out of the world and the human. Fertility of man is progressive message in the Alien. But the Prometheus has very stabile messages.

Fertility of a man or woman is interbedded in the Alien. Because Kane is a man but we don't know the mother is a woman or not. So fertility and identity of mother (Man mother, too) seems like problematic. Kane is mother of an alien! And the mother has bad plans. 

The balance with fertility and manufacturing of some kinds are provided by betrayal of android scientist. We see real, explicit critics of science. But Scott doesn't present any religion as an alternative.

We see some spine and nervure bones of human in the Alien. Aliens stay where spine and nervure bones enveloped walls. This anatomic stroke may be commented that human organism is based of physical around of aliens. And organism of aliens is much more developed than human's organism. There for fascist scientists wants alien's organism.

Ripley's cat is an icon for peace of human and animal kinds. Human can tame animals; humanity can tame aliens, too. A dog, a monkey had been sent to space already but The Alien movie says humanity can go there with a cat. This is like a stroke on peace of humanity and animals.

But The Prometheus is like between archaeological heritage of the world and archaeological iconography of the developed another planet. Not organism, but stone. Archaeologists say to doctor they haven't come to the planet for strange aliens, but they have come for stones. All team of the Nostromo (Out of an android) are cheated by the mother in The Alien. But some members of the Prometheus cheat others; in fact they seem like cheat, because aliens who have been seen are surprise for all team.

The war is against aliens who have nuclear weapons in The Prometheus. The war is against the mother in the world and the war against the alien in The Alien movie. So the Alien's story more humanistic.

The Prometheus releases the alien in the final. This alien is the Alien what we watched 33 years ago. Scott uses first story as basic of The Prometheus and he will tell this story during a few queue. Some events are not clear in The Prometheus and it may be better than first when we see The Prometheus 2-3"

But The Alien movie was harder now. And I think even Ridley Scott couldn't reach its top.
