I didn't catch this watching Rachel last night. When I saw the transcript in print, it took my breath away. Briefly. I think it was the cannoli.

Last night, towards the end of her interview with Constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley makes this stunning claim.

"This is one of the most scary potentialities of the waning days of the Bush administration," he commented. "It would create a terrible precedent. Effectively, the president would be pardoning the world."

How is this not unlike Jesus of Nazareth's reputed attempt to, "pardon all sins," through his sacrifice on the cross at Golgotha?

Is this not what the Revelation-punditocracy predicts as the goal of mocking Christ in this last, most blasphemous gasp for approval from his father?

And, if my old apocalypso rhythms are still in time, this means that EVERYONE STILL ON THE PLANET, has missed the Rapture.

Sorry, Hagee. Sorry, Cornerstone. Sorry, all you self-righteous windbags for Jesus...
