Several bikers will be leaving from Massachusetts and will be learning about how communities are becoming sustainable and helping to mend the environment. The bikers will be in Merry and Burl's neck of the woods and will be interviewed by them next Wed. Ready or not, we plan our first real broadcast next week and will be open to phone calls from listeners. Will the phones work? Will Burl and Merry work? Will things go smoothly? Perhaps, perhaps not, but regardless, it will be a learning experience and we welcome your feedback....both with the rough edges and the smooth surface.

It is really happening! For the second straight year, a contingent of college-aged bikers from NEW ENGLAND CLIMATE SUMMER will be camping out in a church in Merry and Burl's neck of the woods this coming week. So, here we come, ready or not! We will be broadcasting our first live ENVISION THIS! radio show Wednesday evening

July 11 th at 8 PM. Please listen online at Blog Talk Radio and call in to our listener dial-in number, (646) 652-2235, to talk to these courageous and visionary young adults.

If you are unavailable to listen at that time, the show will be aired again. Check our show page at for times and dates (TBA).

Now get ready to shift the focus:

We will be interviewing Stacey Jacobsohn who is the head and founder of the Mid-Maine Time Bank we belong to. Stacey will be helping to do a practice show Friday, July 13 th that you can critique, as well as doing a live show soon to be announced during which you can call in and ask questions.

Perhaps you would like to develop a system like this in your area? Stacey would be a good one to ask. Or perhaps you just want to know how it is working and what some of the challenges are. Again, she would be one to ask.

We will also be developing a discussion group through Yahoo. On this group, you can suggest topics, speakers, and discuss and debate issues regarding sustainability and reconnecting to Mother Nature. We will be getting this group operating shortly.

Finally, if you want to get on our mailing list, feel free to give us a quick line at Email address removed . Then you would be receiving weekly announcements and updates for our shows. (No, we won't inundate your inbox.)

In these ways we can make our dream of ENVISION THIS! becoming a truly interactive and community-driven show come true. You are not just a listener while we are the ones providing the talk. We are a network, not a pyramid.
