::::::::For one, the Stones have been together for half a century, and have consequently been far more prolific than the Fab Four, whose career lasted only a few short years. Also, I felt (in the dream as well as in real life) that any song one could single out by the Beatles, one could find one at least as good (if not better) by the Stones.
Eventually Mick Jagger showed up in this dream (in black and white, and I believe for some time), and then I woke up when Keith Richards started playing a cutaway electric guitar (in color).
And odd dream, but I'd have to generally agree with myself on the main points.
The Beatles greatness, I think, is more cultural than artistic when viewed in relation to the Stones. The Beatles changed the world, and the Stones pretty much went along for the ride, but accomplished far more creatively in the process....
