Three plus years prior to the 2016 presidential election the covers are pulled off a candidate lurking without public announcement. Strategic? Duplicitous? Ethical? You decide.

I am an old man who from my earliest memories was always a Democrat, even as a pre-schooler being a booster for FDR. Bill Clinton made me start to wonder but not to wander. The campaigns of both Gore and Kerry deepened my concern over the direction of my life's partisan persuasion, as did Obama's campaign with its ambiguous pontifications on such as "hope" and "change" rather than specifics on the real and urgent issues and the designs for their solution for the benefit of the American people and for humanity.

Obama's subsequent performance in office has fortified those concerns into my active opposition to his leadership, especially -- but not only -- to his enduring endorsement of the Bushco wars in the Middle East, his use of drones in Pakistan and Yemen, his advocacy of missile strikes against Syria, and the generally bloody mess his leadership has promoted across North Africa, the execution (that's the right word) of which was placed in the hands of a Secretary of State now already -- three plus years from the next presidential election -- actively though coyly unannounced -- campaigning to succeed him.

There follows today's ad across cyberspace, an appeal (yes, already!) to support for the presidency of the United States in 2016, both politically and financially, a person whose personal ambition trivializes that of Shakespeare's Lady Macbeth.

Now, lest you should chance to suspect that mine is an anti-feminist view, be advised of my penultimate message here, a line which I endorse from another author: Elizabeth, your country needs you!

My final message is: Bring up the link below. And, if you will, advise of your reaction...............Very concerned about actually progressive and humane leadership -- Rafe Pilgrim

Leaving behind a treacherous government now addicted to perpetual war, its limitlessly greedy and power-lusting masters, as well as the retarded albeit smirky Republicans and their evermore clonish Democrat colleagues, a braindead electorate (more...)
