Bush is a Girlie-Man Who Abuses the American
People

Greetings from your favorite Christian Liberal:
I've read two articles, "Country
Club Swagger" from Clevescene.com and
"George
W. Bush Ain't No Cowboy"
in the Village Voice. Both articles parallel each other and they
both come to the same conclusion: GEORGE BUSH IS NOT A REAL MAN.
We've also had Dr. Justin Frank tell us in his book,
"Bush on the Couch"
(required reading) that Bush is incapable of being a real
man, because of the dysfunction in his upbringing. It requires
an individual with sensitivity and compassion for his fellow man
to be a "real" man. The rest of the world has come to
this conclusion; so why does the Boy in the Bubble needs to buy
a clue that we're not happy with him? I don't know about you,
but I feel like a woman that's being abused by her lover, with
GeeDubya being in the White House.
I would like to provide my own analogy in relation to the
articles and GeeDubya's "Macho" attitude towards his
job as POTUS.
While I grew up in California, I wasn't born here; I was born
in Texas, home of the real macho "Marlboro Man" (He
later died of AIDS). So I think, having lived in Texas, I know
what a real cowboy/real man looks like. And he doesn't look like
GeeDubya, Rummy or Ashcroft.
A REAL MAN:
Doesn't abuse his woman (wife, mother or daughters), his
friends, or any other individual less powerful than him in the
name of love, loyalty or patriotism. Every time GeeDubya passes
a law, changes a policy designed to devastate the masses, he is
pimp-slapping us and why do we continue to allow it? Loving
Americans shouldn't hurt Americans, yet that's what this
Sock-Puppet calls loving "Amurica".
Accepts responsiblity for his actions, even if he screws up.
Abuse occurs when the abuser blames the victim for his abusing
her. He has the perception that he's in control when he beats
his woman into submission. The world sees this and identifies
him as the jackass he really is, because he's out of control.
Is open, honest, transparent, as well as being LIBERAL in his
love, care and concern for others, especially the poor and
downtrodden. He didn't pick fights because he could, but because
defending the little person was the right thing to do. He shows
his sense of fair play in an open manner; we didn't have to
guess if he was going to be fair. We keep asking GeeDubya to
love us, and he tells us that he loves us; yet he beats us into
a senselessness that Ike Turner didn't put on Tina before she
got fed up and left his burned-out-on coke behind. Like Tina, we
who are tired of being shown " love" by GeeDubya's
continual pimp-slapping us; we need to break this cycle and
leave Dubya's brand of "loving" come November 2nd, or
we literally get killed by it, for it would only be a matter of
time before GeeDubya escalates the abuse on a whole 'nother
level.
Doesn't challenge a guy to a fight, then goes outside and
beats up the guy in the wheelchair instead (Village Voice). Yet,
didn't Dubya, by fiat, do this very thing to individuals like
Max Cleland, John McCain, and now, John Kerry? Why does he
challenge guys that he can't whip, then goes out and beat up the
guy in the wheelchair (like when he went after Saddam, instead
of Osama)? This is the essence of being a
"Girlie-Man".
A Real Man is patient, kind, and temperate in his dealings
with others.
He doesn't allow his proclivities to overwhelm him and take
over in the face of common sense. Anyone can fire those who
disagree with him. But a real man can take the heat of someone
more clear eyed that he, telling him when he's wrong.
I'd like to use a Biblical analogy for the last factor. King
David was an example of a Real Man.
When David committed adultery with Bathsheba, got her
pregnant, sent for the husband, Uriah, to come home and sleep
with Bathsheba in an attempt to cover it up; then Uriah refused
to sleep with his wife cause his boys were on the front line
fighting David's war, David sent Uriah to the front line of
battle, where he was promptly killed in action. David sinned,
first with the affair with Bathsheba, then having her husband
killed to cover it up. David's second in command, Nathan,
promptly confronted him on this (Read 2 Samuel 12:1-7). Since he
was King, David could have had Nathan jailed, or at worse,
executed, for calling him on his crappy actions.
However, because David was a Christian, he could only
acknowledge that Nathan was right, and that he needed to make
things right with God (Psalms 51).
Yet what was GeeDubya's (King David) response when Paul
O'Neill (Nathan) called him on the economic disaster that would
follow the massive tax cuts?
Several pimp-slaps administered to O'Neill by Dubya, Cheney
and Rumsfeld, before GeeDubya showed some mercy in firing
O'Neill. You can get a good idea of how O'Neill was shabbily
treated by this Administration in Ron Suskind's "The Price
of Loyalty". The very essence of a "girlie-man"
response.
A Real Man honors the wishes of the majority, even if they
don't personally favor him. He wouldn't be caught dead in
dealings that are conflicts of interest or collusion against his
people. Yet we get slapped by Dubya as he tells us the rules and
codes of fair dealing don't apply to him, when he hands
Halliburton, Brown & Root, and other profiteers of this war,
fat contracts with just a wink and a nod. Another
"girlie-man" response.
I can envision Dubya pulling out a mythical gun and putting
it to our heads on November 2, 2004, as he screams that he's
still the President, despite Kerry winning in a landslide.
Because we're immune to the slapping, kicking and beating, Dubya
has to take his abuse up a notch with the gun metaphor I've used
here, by beating us into further submission. However, the masses
are growing. I wonder if the public will be treated to a scene
of the FBI hauling Dubya out of the White House in a
straitjacket and handcuffs, because he's caught in the act of
abusing his spouse (the American People) and arrested for
domestic violence?
A Real Man is not a "girlie-man". Only a true
coward beats up on those he knows cannot fight back. GeeDubya's
treatment of the American people, the office of the President
and the Government is like an abusive relationship, and it's
time for us, the American People, to break the abusive cycle. We
start on November 2, 2004, by sending him back to that cowchip
he calls a ranch in Crawford, Texas.
My name is Leutisha Stills. I am the Christian Liberal, a
Loyal supporter of this publication and I'm breaking the cycle
of abuse. Won't you join me?
