Of course you are completely correct about everything is happened before Trump took office. The groundwork was laid just as you said to eventually put somebody like Trump in office. Yes, the US is now a fascist state and has been for some time. Until the American people understand what is happened to this country it will continue to slide deeper into a fascist/corporate state.

We will lose our civil liberties and our Constitution will be shredded because the corporate state wants to exercise his control over the American Empire in the name of profit.

What is so sad about this is that the American people are victims of mass distraction and refused to try to think for themselves. I have no hope. I agree with almost everything you said. But still, nobody will listen. Writing articles such as this is like slamming your head against a brick wall over and over. Still, we need people to tell the truth like you did in this article, great job!
