Years ago, a student in the same Non-Violence Seminar as me wrote a paper on Self-Immolation as an option. We were all horrified, but years later, it is still important to consider the martyr's prophetic voice, as occurred in Tunesia and the Middle East some years ago.
I don't really advocate self-immolation, but I do encourage people who know better to speak up.
