A democracy or a representative republic is dependent on its citizens and electors having well informed bases for their opinions, understandings and political and other choices.

Americans don't , due to it being hard to get real information, and second most US citizens don't know ANY history, economics, geography or science with which to process information even if they were able to get it from the MSM.
