Many OEN readers may consider Mr. Johnson's comment over the top, but sadly it represents main stream U.S. opinion. It used to be that our freedoms were founded on dissidents, whistle blowers against government abuse, petitioning the government for a redress grievances, peaceful protesters and disrupters, an independent media that was a check on government abuse, and the vanguard of those that marched to the tune of a different drummer. The same people that worship the "Founding Fathers" now would have hung them, and their ideas, as traitors and heresy back then.
