Exactly. And, if you knew bernie like I knew him back in Brooklyn, you would know what it means to meet a person with vision, integrity, intelligence and empathy... the ability to feel what others are feeling.

We are all onlookers on the tragedy that has befallen mankind under the management of what you call the 'Empire'. War and human displacement, suffering as mankind has known only in the past when cruel puppet- masters ensured a populace that would do their bidding and their dirty-work.

We cannot second- guess anyone, or know why anyone does anything, or how they think. It is safe to say, that an educated, intelligent human being and a complex thinker, and one who is a long-time senator -- must KNOW A THING OR TWO, and therefore might have good reasons to speak as he does.

Rest assured, that even if this is a man accustomed to saying what is on his mind, he knows what cannot be uttered out loud, if one wishes to become president,(something Mitt & Jeb do not grasp) and also, he knows what should not be said about complex politics in a very dangerous world. We expect our president to have such a quality.

We have to trust someone, even if we cannot always predict a leader's actions in some unseen future based on his past conversations and actions. We have the totality of Benie's leadership, and as Dan Geery's links demonstrate... he is consistent.

Personally, on this blog , at this site, I like what Bernie offers, his consistency, his refusal to be managed by campaign 'handlers' who are more concerned with pitching for donations, how his hair looks, and how he should spin the truth, then what he needs to tell our citizens.

No candidate out there is his match, but that doesn't mean that the best man will win, IF BRIGHT FOLKS don't get behind him , instead of explaining why he cannot win, or why he is not 'this' or 'that'. Leave that to the GOP, they will do their best to demolish him.... but, they didtry that when a black man ran, and he won anyway!
I took this in the Madison HS Library, during our Wall of Distinction event, run by Jane Gordon, the president of the JMHS alumni Assoc.

Janie and I plan on getting out in our county to tell people just who he is... hope some of you will of the same in yours.
