Major Middle East Threat

The MSM did not report it, but the information can be found in the Jerusalem Post at the following web site:  click here   On September 14th the Department of Defense notified Congress it planned to send 1000 bunker buster bombs to Israel.  These are 1000 GPS guided GBU-39 bunker buster bombs capable of penetrating 90 cm (about 3 feet) of steel reinforced concrete and traveling 110 km.  In addition, the defense department is requesting approval to sell 150 mounting carriages, 30 guided test vehicles and send a couple of instructors capable of teaching the Israeli air force how to load the bombs onto aircraft.  Congress has 30 days to object to the sale.  This means if there are no objections, the sale goes through during the height of the election campaign season in mid-October and the strike on Iranian nuclear facilities would likely occur in November of December before a new administration was in place in Washington.        This type of effort to increase Middle East tensions is the last thing the world needs right now and certainly the last thing we need just before a new administration takes over in Washington.  Write your Congress member now and tell them to stop this sale.  Let the next administration decide how to handle foreign policy decisions because this administration has proven itself incapable of making rational decisions on virtually every issue from foreign affairs to domestic policies.
