NSA Knew of Heartbleed Security Flaw-- Rob Kall video commentary on PressTV

By Rob Kall

Bloomberg News reports that two unidentified sources claim NSA knew about the Heartbleed web security flaw and exploited it for two years before Google discovered it and made it public last week. Press TV invited me on their show to discuss this, the implications, what will be done. They also asked me about the growing militarized police state the US is becoming.

My take-- NSA is run by control freaks-- and is a totally top-down organization with the buck stopping with Obama. They want to own ALL the information and control it. Should we believe them when they deny having known? Absolutely not. They lied to us before about NSA and have not punished the liars. That shows the rot goes all the way to the top. We have NO reason to believe the denial.

As far as what will be done-- NOTHING. SCOTUS Chief Justice John Roberts appoints the FISA Court judges who have given NSA a pass. Anything that comes to the Supreme Court will also be given a pass. Congress could do something, but they're spineless.

As far as the US becoming a militarized police state-- it's all relative. There are worse, but the US is getting really bad. We just headlined an article on police getting away with murder in Albuquerque. And Obama has been funding the militarization of police to the tune of billions of dollars.

See the seven minute segment below. And add your take in the comments. Do you believe NSA's denial?
