On 11/22/13 a vigil began in Washington, D.C. that has evolved into "HonorJFK.com" and YouTube "Your Invitation to Honor JFK". Quoting JFK, “One person can make a difference, and everyone should try,” the video calls for a Constitutional Assembly 7/4/14 on public terraces of the Kennedy Center, petitioning for immediate release of still secret CIA/JFK files and return of CIA to it's original, intelligence-only mandate.

A vigil that began November 22, 2013 at The Kennedy Center, Washington, D.C., for immediate release of still secret CIA/JFK assassination records, has evolved into something more.  Posted now at http://www.HonorJFK.com and YouTube is "Your Invitation to Honor JFK".

The video's call to action:  "JFK said 'One person can make a difference, and everyone should try.' His words and this video are your invitation to join a Constitutional Assembly on July 4th, 2014 at 12:30 p.m., on the public terraces of the Kennedy Center, petitioning by your presence for immediate release of all the still secret JFK records, starting with the "CIA SEVEN" Most Wanted Files, and return of the CIA to its original, intelligence-only mandate. Honor John F. Kennedy. Free the files and find the truth. Restore America as a Free and Constitutional Republic."

The film incorporates footage of both the November 22nd vigil and efforts, frustrated by Kennedy Center security and the U.S. Park Police, to display a sign and thereby heighten awareness of the CIA/JFK records issue among influential guests arriving at the Kennedy Center Honors on December 8, 2013. Attendees included President Obama, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Fox's Bill O'Reilly and David Gregory of "Meet the Press."  

This call to release still secret assassination records and return the CIA to its original, intelligence-only mandate is framed in the context of a 1961 speech by John F. Kennedy referencing secrecy and the media, as well as an article, "Limit CIA Role to Intelligence," published by Harry Truman (during whose presidency the CIA was established, in 1947) exactly one month after JFK's assassination. 

Accompanying audio excerpts from Kennedy's speech and Truman quotes are visual snapshots from the past 50 years of history, depicting issues of secrecy, military and CIA activities that resonate in the public conscience of Americans:  Iran 1953; Guatemala 1954; Vietnam, the Pentagon Papers and Daniel Ellsberg; Guantanamo Bay, "Rendition" flights and the destruction of torture tapes; Disclosures (arguably of War Crimes) and the trial of Army Private Bradley Manning; Electronic privacy revelations of Edward Snowden; CIA assassinations and collateral deaths accomplished by weaponized drones flown over Pakistan.

The film notably juxtaposes brief video footage of the 9/11/01 collapse of World Trade Center building #7 (WTC-7) with JFK's 1962 rejection of "Operation Northwoods," (the latter, a plan endorsed by the Joint Chiefs of Staff for perpetrating domestic, False Flag terrorism by CIA and/or military operatives that could then be blamed on Cuba, justifying war) and apparent suppression of printing, in English, of former German Defense Minister Andreas Von Bulow's 2003 book, "The CIA and 9/11: International Terrorism and the Role of the Secret Services." WTC-7 purportedly housed the largest CIA office outside of Langley, Virginia.  Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth ( http://www.AE911Truth.org ) has persistently, but thus far unsuccessfully, sought release of all data upon which the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) bases it's theory of how fires alone caused the 47 story WTC-7 to collapse on 9/11/01 at 5:20 p.m. in a mere 7 seconds, despite not having been struck by an aircraft or significant debris from either WTC-1 or WTC-2.  Mention of WTC-7's collapse was omitted entirely from the 9/11 Commission Report.

Regarding both still secret CIA files relevant to JFK's assassination and the Warren Commission's conclusion that Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby each "acted alone" in their respectively alleged and actual crimes, the video draws excerpts of witness interviews in Dallas from Mark Lane's 1966 documentary film, "Rush to Judgment," and testimony at a 1985 Miami federal trial that implicated CIA, anti-Castro, Bay of Pigs veterans, including E. Howard Hunt and Frank Sturgis, recounted in Lane's 2011 book, "Last Word:  My Indictment of the CIA in the Murder of JFK."  

Investigative journalist Jefferson Morley and his website http://www.JFKfacts.org  are credited with having prioritized for disclosure the "CIA SEVEN Most Wanted" as among 1100+ files related to JFK's assassination that are still withheld "in full" by CIA from the public, 50 years later.

"Your Invitation to Honor JFK" anticipates the  prospect of massive, very "Civil Obedience," the peaceful assembling of many at the specified time and location (pursuant to positive guarantees in the Constitution's First Amendment of the rights to peacefully assemble and thereby petition for a redress of grievances) as the best means of accomplishing timely release of the still secret CIA/JFK records, also reining in of the CIA to it's original, intelligence-only mandate.
