Yes, NRA Member, You DO Have the Blood of 20 Children on Your Hands

By Rob Kall

letters from some NRA supporters... and my responses

::::::::

Today, I sent out the daily newsletter, today, with the subject heading,
Every NRA supporter has children's blood on his/her hands

I got replies.

Fred, an NRA member replied with his email titled:
I disagree with your assesment

On Sat, Dec 15, 2012 at 10:15 PM, Fred Harris EMAIL ADDRESS REMOVED wrote:
"Mr. Kall:

I respectfully disagree with your accusation that the people who fund and support the NRA have blood on their hands.  Mr. Kall, people who kill have many instruments from which to choose to accomplish their dastardly deeds.  They have knives, swords, bats, pipes, axes, bombs, cars, airplanes and even poison and many more.  If you will recall Mr. Kall the Hutus and the Tutsis killed tens of thousands of people with machetes.  Mr. Kall, in my opinion you are the one that is being naive.

There are many folks that have pushed the secular agenda for decades and they are now reaping the benefits (pain if you will) of their efforts.  Everyone wonders where ethics, morality, honesty, respect, honor and self reliance have gone.  Thanks to a very liberal agenda and the loss of the afore mentioned items you see the effects everywhere.  Just look at the lack of ethics, honesty and morality in government at every level, look at the problems in schools, look at the lack of ethics in business, look at the broken marriages especially in the black community, look at the lack of objectivity in the news media and their even resorting to making up stories.  I hate to tell you Mr. Kall that Evil does exist.

The liberal effort to roust God out of the schools and the public square has permitted Evil to flourish.  With out being taught that there is a higher power in the form of a living God and there will come a judgement day before that God, is it any wonder that our country and the world is in chaos.  With out a Godly presence in every day life and at every level what will hold Evil at bay.

I have been a member of the NRA for many years and have used guns to stop crimes and apprehend people who seriously harmed others.  I have never put any innocent people in harms way.  Quite the opposite, some are alive because I had a gun.  I know of a number of other gun owners and NRA members who have had similar experiences so Mr. Kall I resent your accusations."

I replied to Fred:
Fred, You may respectfully disagree but I don't respect you. You DO have the blood of the 20 murdered children on your hands.

The NRA prevents reasonable laws that prevent semi-automatic weapons and the large magazines that make it easier for mass murderers to kill more.

Do you need semi-automatic weapons?
Did you use them for the interventions you were involved with?
Are they needed for sportsman-line hunting?

I don't believe the answer of any of those should be yes.
The NRA blocks all regulation, including simple laws regarding record keeping, reporting and checking records.

Would you dare to say that because this happened, God meant it to?
Or, that it happened because the law, since the beginning of this nation, separates church and state?

if you do, then YOU are the evil one, using the teachings of Jesus and the old testament to rationalize your disgusting interpretation of the world-- an interpretation that I have no doubt would be totally blasted and repudiated by Jesus and the people of the Old testament.

Richard Zuckerman emailed me with the following subject heading, but no message.
"Those with blood on their hands are you liberal shitheads because of failure to recognize a duty of premises liability in that the landlord has a duty to take reasonable precautions against tresspassers; this would include a need for ARMED guards at public schools!!!"

I replied:

I have to give you credit Richard. There are very few right wing sociopath fascists with the blood of children on their hands who would use such an idiotic rationalization.

Perhaps we can take it a step further and require an armed guard in every classroom, as well as each stall in each bathroom. Ah, but, if such a guard were to look in such a bathroom stall, they might find you, with your head in it.

There are 20 dead children,  40 parents grieving, a community in incredible pain and you, sick, pathetic fool making statements that if were put into effect would turn the US into a total police state.
Screw you Richard and may your children and the children of those you love fare better than these poor young innocents and their families.

There are some NRA supporters on this site. They choose to blame liberals, the government, Obama, Romney, politicians or the political system. There's some truth that politicians ARE also to blame. But, the NRA is the biggest problem. And it's members and supporters are what give it its power. I've used restraint in my writing. I've held back from really letting loose. I see the victims of Adam Lanza and I want to... well, I'm hoping I don't encounter any such lower than whale sh*t people face to face.

Update: CNN reports:
...Adam Lanza used a Bushmaster AR-15 "assault-type weapon" most of the time at the school. Lanza was armed with magazines that held 30 bullets each, according to Vance. He said there were hundreds of bullets for the weapons as well.

These should not be legal. The NRA keeps them legal. Supporting the NRA means you have blood of children on your hands.
