If I Led Egypt and Was Dealing With the Possible Cancellation of the USA's $1.5 Foreign Aid Grant

By Rob Kall

If I was the leader of Egypt and was dealing with the possible cancellation of the USA's $1.5 foreign aid grant, here's what I'd be doing.

If I was the leader of Egypt and was dealing with the possible cancellation of the USA's $1.5  foreign aid grant, here's what I'd be doing.

I'd be tracking the discussions by the US media, primarily by right wingers, calling for canceling the grant.

I'd be thinking, "fuck the USA and their $1.5 billion grant. Where else can I get the money and built new alliances?"

I'd be thinking, can I get some of it from China and/or Russia? Should I be talking to Iran about getting some of it in oil?  Should I approach Saudi Arabia?

I'd be thinking, how can I exploit this embarrassing video that I know full well the USA's freedom of speech laws made possible.

I'd be looking at the thousands of Islamophobic hateful comments on the youtube videos and wondering how they will affect the Arab street... and how I could use them to my advantage politically and to consolidate my power.

I'd be thinking about how to use this to change the power balance between Egypt and Israel-- and between Egypt and the US and other states as well.

Rob began his Bottom-up Radio show, broadcast on WNJC 1360 AM to Metro Philly, also available on iTunes, covering the transition of our culture, business and world from predominantly Top-down (hierarchical, centralized, authoritarian, patriarchal, big)  to bottom-up (egalitarian, local, interdependent, grassroots, archetypal feminine and small.) Recent long-term projects include a book, Bottom-up-- The Connection Revolution, debillionairizing the planet and the Psychopathy Defense and Optimization Project.
