Good Riddance; Ratzinger Resigns-- First Pope in 719 Years to Voluntarily Leave: click here

One must walk into the cesspit of this life with absolute clarity as to what one is doing and yes a reformed prostitute would make the best shepherd in terms of where we are now going. I will be following her though I cleave to the traditional patriarchal and devotional nature of the Roman Catholic Church. I am happy to define myself as a Petrine Christian and take my place among the rubble with Pope Benedict. I believe him to have been far wiser that our time appreciates and predict that you and others will look on uncharitable and unbalanced critiques like this with regret.
And just to conclude the Catholic Church is historical and - emerging out of history as it does - is effectively leading from the rear, which is usually where you find the shepherd afterall. There are many ghosts which need to be laid to rest before the Church can re-positioned strategically - well at least one more. We soak up karmic crap like the Irish Sea God 'Bodach and Chota Lachna', in our coat-tails.
I do so in my own devotions and visit the dead to relieve them of their demonic spirits and purge them in 'prayer and suffering', and self-mortification such as I can. I was greatly impressed by this being the Pope's main reason for retiring because it confirms me in my own domestic Lotuscross Devotion, which ironically is Yoga based. The Pope may not have been able to see through his own pattern of traditionalism but that 'Prayer & Suffering', theme is the heart of Hindu, Yoga & Buddhist devotional-ism too. I don't mind that he didn't see that yoga can also be a form of 'Prayer & Suffering'. I guess we'd better get on with explaining that so the next Pope can be less hostile after which it really will be time for the new - developed world - order.
