Reframing the Iraq War Discussion

The forum will focus on the economic, social, ethical and legislative aspects of the war by area speakers with responses by elected officials and Congressional candidates. An interactive panel discussion and moderated question and answer session with the audience will follow.
Confirmed panelists to date:
U.S. Representative Robert Andrews, who currently represents New Jersey's First Congressional District.
Anna Berlinrut, cofounder of the Essex County, NJ. Chapter of Military Families Speak Out.
John Bruhns, an Iraq war veteran, Legislative Coordinator for United for Peace and Justice.
Dave Lindorff, an award-winning investigative journalist and author will discuss the growing concern about expansion of the war into Iran.
The Rev. Robert Moore, Executive Director of the Princeton-based Coalition for Peace Action and Pastor of East Brunswick Congregational Church.
Matt Thieke, Green Party candidate for Congressional District 1.
Jim Walsh, Program Director for NJ Citizen Action will speak about the war's impact on the people of New Jersey.
Invited participants: U.S. Senators Frank Lautenberg and Robert Menendez, House incumbents and Congressional candidates for the November election in Districts 1 and 3.
