I am not sure just what Alberto Gonzalez is angry at. Or who is he angry with. But he sure as hell is taking it out on the American people, you and me; on the Constitution of the United States of America, and ... on career service employees at the Department of Justice. He is, just like Bush, taking it out on all of us.

He mocks the Senators every time he is called to testify at a Senate Hearing. He gives the Senators no answers to their questions. He excuses his non-answers with a rote reply: "classified-not for public viewing or hearing." He smirks at those senators who are clearly and visibly exasperated with his comportment before them, and then he writes a nonsense letter, which he sends to the senate as part of the, "full explanatory written answer," he promised to extend to the senators for those questions in which he was not able to be verbally forthcoming.

He removes career service employee from the Department of Justice, willy nilly, filling those posts with Bush ,"yes" men or women, people who have no problem seeing the world, and the law, from the same insane, unlawful, criminally minded point-of-view as Bush does.

Turning his back to the actual responsibilities of his job as Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the United States, Alberto Gonzalez, in a myopic view of his responsibilities, defines his role of attorney general as being that of an Attorney General who looks for ways to help Bush break and subvert existing laws by, among other things, surrounding him with people who will turn a blind eye to the Bush Administration crimes.

How different from Bobby Kennedy and Janet Reno, two Attorney Generals whose heart beat with the rule of law, the pulse of the people and the notes of democracy. Two people who devoted their lives and careers to the preservation and furtherance of the democratic principles inherent in the Constitution of the United States of America.

From a "dynamics" point of view, I have to wonder ... Is Alberto Gonzalez avenging on the rest of us, the American people, any and all, real or perceived, mistreatment or maltreatment that he, or his father, or any of the rest of his family received as immigrants to this country? Any one who has been an immigrant, on immigrant row, knows that immigrants are usually seen as second class citizens, not fully Americans, not fully invested in the, "American way of life," particularly if they are laborers rather than intellectuals or professionals. Lou Dobbs gives us a perfect present day example of that point of view.

Did Alberto Gonzalez' father feel marginalized, in any way, by those, "Americans" he came in contact with and who held, back then, the same point of view that Lou Dobbs holds today?

Did the attorney general himself, Alberto Gonzalez, feel marginalized in any way in his growing up by any of his school mates, especially those "American" offspring of parents who held back then, to the same point of view on immigrants as Lou Dobbs holds today?

Does Alberto Gonzalez still feel marginalized or different from the mainstream American due to his brown skin or his Mexican heritage?

Does Alberto Gonzalez' only sense of belonging in present day America come from his association with George W. Bush and the rest of the Bush Family?

How so very sad for the Attorney General that his onliest sense of self and belonging appears to come from his association to the Bush Family and that to that goal and purpose he is willing to sell out our American Democracy.

How indicative, indeed is the Bush-Gonzalez relationship, of those kinds of relationships in which one becomes like a parasite living off of a host body.

Like the parasitic relationship between Howard K. Stern and Anna Nicole Smith...with the difference being that in the Smith-Stern relationship it was Nicole, the host body, the one who seemed not to have a mind of her own while Stern, the parasite, seemed to have done all the thinking for Anna Nicole. The host seemed to be controlled by the parasite. Ana-Nicole provided the life-line: she provided the money. Howard K.Stern, the parasite, did what parasites do. He sucked it all up.

In the Bush-Gonzalez relationship, however, Gonzalez, the parasite Attorney General has no mind of his own. He is subject to doing whatever Bush, or those who think for Bush want from him. He is as happy as a flea in a cow's tail doing just what Bush and his thinkers tell him to do which may include coming up with ways to subvert the law...

Gonzalez, the Attorney General with no mind of his own and very little self, a parasite living a symbiotic relationship with Bush is content to swat democracy down to a pulp, clearing the way with his cow tail switch for the establishment of Bush's dictatorship.

Bush provides the power. Gonzalez provides the cow tail switch.
