Move On attacks the wrong Commander

The right wing attack dogs have got the scent and they are going for blood.  Instead of doing something to help the troops like extending the time troops are home before redeployment to Iraq they are busy trying to get a resolution passed to condemn MoveOn.org.

Well people I myself opposed the ad because I knew the republican spin machine would have a ball with this.  Now instead of getting our bull headed president to open talks with our enemies to end this fiasco of a war, we will have to listen to a bunch of neo-cons whining about how unpatriotic MoveOn.org is.

MoveOn should have directed its ad at the commander in chief to stop hiding behind General Petraeus and explain what his policy is and what is he actually doing to resolve this occupation of Iraq.  But now we will have to listen for the foreseeable future how horrible this ad is.

What is horrible is how the republicans have supported a president who at best has a 4th graders understanding of global politics and cultural differences between the different peoples of this planet.

What is horrible is how the republicans did the exact same thing when they ran the swift boat ad’s against a real war veteran John Kerry all the while the ChickenHawk’s in the White House continue to rattle sabers and plan more mischief around the world.

What is horrible is how this administration writes laws to spy on Americans without a warrant or how the president can call you an enemy combatant and haul you off to some secret prison to be tortured and to rot away with no judicial review.

What is horrible is how the democrats keep whining we can’t overcome a filibuster.  Well so what.  Let them explain in their filibuster why we are still in Iraq, why we are bankrupting our country to stay in the middle of a civil war, why we are giving tax breaks to billionaires who are profiting during this war.  Go ahead and filibuster this.

MoveOn what you did was not in the best interests of this country.  If you pour gasoline on a fire you are just going to get a bigger flame.  You should have directed your attack on the architect of this disastrous presidency George W “not my president” Bush.

Peace and Liberty with intelligence, strength, and integrity.
