SEN. BARACK OBAMA: Well, let’s be clear, John. I just want to make sure that we understand: I don’t take money from federal lobbyists. I don’t take money from PACs.

JOHN EDWARDS: As I don’t, either. (Nevada Debate, 1/15/08)

You’ve heard it once. You’ve heard it twice. You’ve heard it three times. And you’ll probably hear it again as the Lovefest debate series continues tonight on CNN featuring the top three Democratic candidates or the bottom half minus one plus the first and second place Democratic candidates or the first-runner, second-runner, and third-runner candidates. (Media men sit around for hours coming up with catchy ways to make it seem like only three people are left in the Democratic Party’s race for the presidency.)

The Lovefest debate series is a unique chance to see how greatly each of the candidates love each other and would vote for each other if they did not think they would be a better president themselves. It’s also a great opportunity for them to make claims that you would never believe if you were looking at their voting record, past history, or the bundlers and lobbyist bundlers donating to their campaigns, which they claim do not exist.

Barack Obama claims he doesn't take money from federal lobbyists yet according to WhiteHouseforSale.org he has had how many federal lobbyists bundle for his campaign? 9 total.

Frank Clark employed by Commonwealth Edison from Illinois who works for the electric utilities industry is a bundler for Barack Obama and has raised more than $200,000.

Scott Harris employed by Harris Wiltshire and Grannis from D.C. who works for the lawyers and law firms industry is a bundler for Barack Obama and has raised more than $200,000.

Allan J. Katz employed by Akerman Senterfitt from Florida who works for the lawyers and law firms industry is a bundler for Barack Obama and has raised more than $200,000. He also is a member of the Florida Democratic Committee and Democratic National Committee, Tallahassee City Commissioner.

Robert S. Litt employed by Arnold & Porter from Maryland who works for the lawyers and law firms industry is a bundler for Barack Obama and has raised an amount that is not listed. Barack has not disclosed the name of this bundler. WhiteHouseForSale.org investigated and found it out.

Thomas J. Perrelli employed by Jenner and Block from from Virginia who works for the lawyers and law firms is a bundler for Barack Obama and has raised more than $200,000.

Thomas A. Reed employed by Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Preston Gates Ellis LLP from Virginia who works for the lawyers and law firms industry is a bundler for Barack Obama and has raised more than $200,000.

Paul N. Roth employed by Schulte Roth & Zabel from New York who works for the lawyers and law firms industry is a bundler for Barack Obama and has raised at least $50,000.

Alan Solomont employed by Solomont Bailis Ventures from Massachusetts who works for the Health Services/HMOs industry was the vice chair for John Kerry in 2004 and raised at least $100,000. He is now a bundler for Barack Obama and has raised more than $200,000. [*No wonder Barack takes the position on single-payer health care that he does. You know the one where he says if he were building up a system from scratch he would institute a single-payer system. How convenient for the HMOs that he is saying that.]

Tom E. Wheeler employed by Core Capital Partners from D.C. who works for the Misc. Finance industry (Hedge Funds?) was the vice chair for John Kerry and raised at least $100,000. He is now a bundler for Barack Obama and has raised more than $200,000.

So, in total, Barack Obama has had at least $1,450,000 donated to his campaign by federal lobbyists, federal lobbyists that he does not take money from. Needless to say, he has not given any of it back and since a few of them helped Kerry win the nomination by bundling for him, why tell them to go home?

John Edwards who seconds Barack's false claim has had how many federal lobbyists donate to his campaign? 1 total.
