They are all blind men, jousting with shadows
Not a damn thing is true
Either about their enemy
Or the things they think they are fighting for

A young Muslim points his RPG, with God's name on his lips
And a young Marine takes him out, with Rock and Roll in his ears
The young Muslim lies in a pool of blood
And the young Marine gets pats on the back

Not one damn worthy thing has happened
Not one important point was made
Nothing of value was won
And God had nothing to say about it

How really absurd it all is
How absolutely ridiculous
All this mess and all this noise
And all this wasted effort

If only they knew how meaningless it is
If only they knew how little God cares
If only they could see what an irritation they are creating
And how little the rest of nature cares for their empty squabbling

The selfish pettiness of their religions and politics, smears the sky with sh*t
The low-down nature of their high-blown beliefs, soaks the ground with piss
Their ego-inflated excuses, to tear each other to pieces, throw-up on the world
And this unworthy monkey brings desecration to the earth and life it has been given

I stand mute, deaf, and blinded by the sites they offer me
I wretch at the very thought of the reasons they give for their crimes
I shake, uncontrollably, at the horror that they expect me to accept
I weep, like Jesus, at the realization that they will not stop until all life ends

They are all blind men, jousting with shadows
Not a damn thing is true
Either about their enemy
Or the things they think they are fighting for
