Opednews.com routinely publishes articles that discuss how the two party system is broken, how the old Red and Blue, Democrat and Republican dichotomy no longer works.
Images can be powerful tools for expressing ideas. We're looking for graphics we can use to illustrate the many articles that come in on these topics that convey the idea that Red and Blue, right and left politics are really corporatist from different directions, that Democrats an Republicans-- Donkeys and Elephants are really some other kind of monster that is not what they want us to think.
We'd also like images that convey the idea of corporatism, or a congress or politicians controlled by, influenced by or loyal to corporations
Can you create a drawing, painting, photo, mashup, photoshopped image that conveys this message? If so, please add it as a comment here or send it to me at rob at opednews.com.
or, if you're not an artist, but see the value of this project, make a donation
so we can also commission artists to do this work, then drop me an email that your donation is for this project. Or, go directly to one of the sites we'll be using-- fiver.com
and commission a project.
Clearly, I am not a graphic artist. But here's a simple example-- just something to illustrate this article, based on an image I found here.
We won't be paying for these, but will give you credit for them, with a link to your member page. Hopefully, adding graphic images will help get the message out about the failure of two party politics and its takeover by corporations.
Of course, we're also looking for articles on these subjects. We can't do too many of them. This problem is one of the biggest threats to humanity and certainly, to the USA's middle class and the 99 percent.
