For more than three years, I have been independently posting articles to OpEdNews. I recently began to serve as an intern for The Nation Magazine and as an intern I have been helping Greg Mitchell with his daily "WikiLeaks News & Views" blog that he has been doing for more than sixty days--ever since Cablegate.

Mitchell put out an instant book last week called "The Age of WikiLeaks,"  which I also helped him put together. The 156-page book, which received endorsements from Daniel Ellsberg and Glenn Greenwald is the best instant book on WikiLeaks right now, was the culmination of work Mitchell had done blogging and writing on WikiLeaks ever since WikiLeaks began to make news in April 2010 when they put out the "Collateral Murder" video. [To purchase the book.]

In the few weeks that I have been helping Mitchell, my enthusiasm for following all things related to WikiLeaks has been renewed. I have decided to do a podcast on WikiLeaks each week from now until #WikiLeaks is no longer a popular hashtag on Twitter.

I have been part of a weekly podcast called "The Saturday News Hangover" for over a half of a year with host Chris Novembrino and news correspondents Sean Freeder and Jordan Darnell Williams. We have enjoyed great success on iTunes.

Now, I hope you will take some time and enjoy a round-up of stories from January 24-28 that you might have missed that relate to WikiLeaks, Julian Assange, Anonymous, Cablegate, the media, etc.
