So, today I got an email from Tea Party Patriots, recently I got other
letters from Tea Party Nation, many of you heard about the Tea Party
Express guy, Mark Williams and his rants, and we've all heard cries of
racism in the "Tea Party Movement" coming from "The Liberal Media". All
this talk about racism, seems I would be amiss not to touch on the
subject.

Labeling an entire movement racist, is as stupid as racism itself.
Saying that Tea Partiers are racist is like saying that blacks commit
crimes, Asian people drive badly, or Polish people are stupid, you might
find empirical data to support your claim, but you are still thinking
like a collectivist, and in a world of sovereign individuals,
collectivists are all too often, just plain wrong.

No point in explaining that to the American Left though, collectivism is
the name of the game. Far too many of those outspoken voices are all
too happy to throw the race card around with little regard for what, if
anything, race has to do with the topic. Anybody who thinks I would
change the channel on my television, much less go to a protest, just
because there is a black man in the White House, is more than wrong,
they are being intellectually disingenuous. And while I've got plenty of
bad things to say about people in the "Tea Party Movement", and I know
there are a lot of racists in the "Tea Party Movement", its roots are
far more economic than race based.

But maybe some of the Tea Partiers should ask themselves why it is so
easy to label them as racists? I can't speak for the whole movement, I
just know what has happened here, that Libertarians and
Constitutionalists have been shunned to cater to warmongers, social
conservatives, social security recipients, Republicans, and others who
either benefit from big government or seek to have big government carry
out their own agenda, along with, yes, Racists, Homophobes, and other
Bigots.

Are you a Racist, Homophobe, or other Bigot? I don't much care if you
are, so long as you don't seek to implement your deranged ideas into
public policy. Equally, I don't care how many times you tell me you
aren't a racist, if you support those who seek to implement these
deranged ideas into law, you're still pushing a bigot's agenda.

Assure me all day long that you support Arizona's Police State Act
because you think it's perfectly constitutional to initiate searches
upon "Lawful Contact" instead of "Probable Cause", tell me you support
it because you think illegal immigrants are collecting welfare, tell me
you support it because of drug violence spilling over the Mexican
border. None of that changes the fact that it is unconstitutional to
search people without a warrant, none of that changes the fact that
illegal immigrants are not eligible to collect welfare, none of that
changes the fact that the crime rate in Arizona is actually going DOWN
as immigration goes UP. Beyond the fact that you are wrong on just about
every level available, it's just plain common sense that the only way
to determine "Reasonable Suspicion" for a person being in the country
illegally is through racial profiling, and most people who support the
policy, when being honest realize that and support it anyway. I don't
care if YOU are or are not a racist, you are pursuing an
unconstitutional racist policy, and that is enough to make us political
enemies regardless of why you support the unconstitutional racist
policy.

Don't tell me you welcome all races, religion's, and walks of life or
that you support the Constitution, when you demand that the government
step in and stop a Mosque from being built in NYC (Or anywhere else for
that matter). You've spent the last year exercising your first amendment
rights, now you want to have the government intervene to stop a
religious place from being built? Your freedom of speech comes AFTER
freedom of religion! Do you really think Freedom of Religion means,
"Freedom to choose whichever branch of Christianity or Judaism you
please"? I don't care what your reasoning is, tell me it is for
security, tell me it is for historic reasons, tell me anything you want,
you are still pushing an unconstitutional racist policy, you're motives
aren't really relevant to my concerns.

Maybe you're not a homophobe just for opposing gay marriage, maybe you
don't mean to discriminate against Muslim's, Mormon's, and others in
your opposition to polygamy. But you support discriminatory policy. Why
you support policy designed to interfere in the personal and romantic
lives of sovereign individuals is no more relevant to me than why Obama
wants to destroy our health care system, I oppose your agenda because of
its effect, not because of your motives.

Maybe you don't support the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan because you
think Arab or Muslim people are less human than you, perhaps you still
haven't heard that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, perhaps you read a
fictional article which convinced you there is still something worth
fighting for in Afghanistan. But the effect and appearance remain the
same, people die for no good reason as a result of your ignorance.

And when we mix all of these things together, one cannot help but notice
a pattern developing. It is simply impossible to not notice, that each
and every time such a social issue arises, you seem to be opposed to
everything of any substance that is not white heterosexual
Judeo-Christian.

And this is the best gift you could possibly give to the collectivists,
or should I say "The Left", because in your support of racist policies,
you really are collectivists yourselves... It is a gift to them, because
it helps them paint you as too stupid to understand their agenda, it is
a gift to them because it makes you lose the support of Libertarians,
it is a gift to them because they can make out your efforts to cut
government, as just one more racist policy you are pursuing. Mark
Williams doesn't do you any favors when he writes (while pretending to
be a black freed slave) "We Colored People have taken a vote and decided
that we don't cotton to that whole emancipation thing. Freedom means
having to work for real, think for ourselves, and take consequences
along with the rewards. That is just far too much to ask of us Colored
People and we demand that it stop!".

This is just what the left loves about your alliance with Racists,
Homophobes, and other Bigots. They can act like they oppose it as much
as they want, but it is the best gift they could ever have, because it
makes everything else you say completely worthless to anyone who is
paying attention.
