GMA's Chris Cuomo mistakenly called Sarah Palin's memoir "Going Rouge" instead of "Going Rogue." This Freudian slip is understandable on many levels. Sarah Palin is a former beauty queen, turned politician. She won the Miss Wasilla beauty pageant in 1984. At the pageant, she played the flute as her talent and won Miss Congeniality. After winning the Miss Wasilla contest, Palin was the first runner-up in the Miss Alaska pageant. Interestingly, Miss Alaska that year was a black woman. The winnner was Maryline Blackburn. She was Miss Alaska in 1984. Blackburn was born in Europe but raised in Alaska. She currently works as a singer.

Sarah Palin introduced herself to the nation as "a pitbull with lipstick." At her acceptance speech at the Republican National Committee Convention in 2008, Palin told the crowd: "I was just your average hockey mom. I love those hockey moms, you know, they say, what is the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? Lipstick. I was just your average hockey mom and signed up for the PTA because I wanted to make my kids' public education better."

During the 2008 presidential election season, Tina Fey acting as Sarah Palin, used the line "Going Rogue" in a skit that saterized Sarah Palin and lampooned the oft-repeated line that she is a maverick.

"The real John McCain appeared in the opening sketch of SNL with Tina Fey as Sarah Palin. The skit featured the presidential ticket addressing the nation on QVC and attempting to spread their message by selling McCain-themed items due to their own limited funds. In the funniest moment of the sketch, Palin darted to the side and announced she was "going rogue", holding up a "Palin in 2012" T-shirt."

According to the New York Post, Sarah's lectures are a tough sell.

"Palin's bookers are said to be asking for $100,000 per speech, but an industry expert tells Page Six: 'The big lecture buyers in the US are paralyzed with fear about booking her, basically because they think she is a blithering idiot.'"

Since her bookings are stalled, her next big move might be to contact the people at Maybeline. A red rouge is highly recommended when making a speaking debut on politics in a Communist country.
