Ben Bernanke and AIG

"AIG exploited a huge gap in the regulatory system; there was no oversight of the financial products division," he said. "This was a hedge fund basically that was attached to a large and stable insurance company, made huge numbers of irresponsible bets, took huge losses."

The Doctors Get Away with Murder

For a moment, let us consider the moral fiber of a doctor who allows a patient to die. The sucker had been fired and had lost his health insurance. His Congressman had betrayed him by accepting bribes from the AMA to limit the number of doctors.

"Hospitals are death traps." My mother the nurse told me.

Health professionals should have their schooling tuition free with generous living subsidies. Medical workers should flood the country. If I slip on a banana peel, I want somebody to catch me before I hit the sidewalk.

Bankers are War Criminals

Humbly, I suggest that jobless and homeless sit on the juries that try the financiers who have wrought the worldwide depression. In the course of their felonies, wrongful deaths have occurred. Under New York law, wrongful death in the course of a felony is first degree murder.

The Government Wallows in Torture

In regard to torture and rendition, we require a much wider net. Federal Agency and military personnel took part. The Congress funded it. The Bush Administration and the Supreme Court removed all rights and safeguards from the prisoners.

The wrong doing mocked the rule of law.

The President has wisely left most of Bush's directives and bogus laws in place. We can wrap up the prosecution and executions with dispatch. If we fail to do this, the next "Bush" will finish the job on us.

The many bleeding hearts who ask mercy for Bush should join him in the execution room.

Iraq Veterans Sleep Rough in the Woods

Withdrawing 100's of thousands of "our boys" from Asia would put them on our streets unemployed with weapons. These guys aren't your usual American laydown wimps.

Sure, old time radicals like me want Obama to jail the Congressional torture mongers for war crimes and nail the CEO's for fraud and theft. Breaking up the commodity cartels would be a blessing.

Born a month before Pearl Harbor, I attended world events from an early age. My first words included Mussolini, Patton, Sahara and Patton. At age three I was a regular listener to Lowell Thomas. My mom was an industrial nurse a member of the (more...)
