Ron Paul can't get any love in South Carolina -- not that he expected any. But it's hard to imagine a group of debate attendees who actually boo (loudly) the Golden Rule. Those folks just don't "get" the whole do-unto-others bit. Paul and the other Neoclowns assembled in SC for a(nother) debate, and Paul was describing his rationale for ending the Bush Terror Wars:

"My point is, if another country does to us what we do others, we're not going to like it very much. So I would say that maybe we ought to consider a golden rule in foreign policy. Don't do to other nations ... [Boos]... what we don't want to have them do to us. So we endlessly bomb these countries and then we wonder, wonder why they get upset with us?"

Y'think those South Carolinians even realize the Golden Rule is part of the Bible?  Pack it up, Ronnie, you can't survive the Bible Belt, your foreign policy sounds too Christ-like.

And don't count the Occupy Movement out just yet -- they are regrouping and renewing their protest against the corporate takeover of our government. Nearly 1,000 protestors gathered at the Capitol to greet returning lawmakers with signs decrying the influence of money on politicians....

"'We're trying to make the congressional representatives and constituents around the world who haven't bothered being involved yet realize that we're here, and you can have a voice and stand up for your rights,' said Sara Shaw, 24, of Washington.

"The protest against Congress comes as a record 84 percent of Americans say they disapprove of the way Washington lawmakers are doing their job, according to a Washington Post/ABC News poll published on Monday."

The people, united, will never be defeated! (You listening, Newt? Mitt? Anyone?)  We can hope.
