The Mormon Church since designating itself as the Kingdom of God on earth has been waiting since 1844 when church founder Joseph Smith JR announced his candidacy for president to place one of its own High Priests as President of the United States to fulfill the role of the Earth King of the Kingdom.
Three attempts to accomplish that goal have been made; Joseph Smith 1844, George Romney 1968 and his son Mitt Romney 2008 and again in 2012.
The election of Mormon High Priest Mitt Romney to the presidency will fulfill the goal of the church to overthrow the republic turning it into a fascist theocracy.
Mormon foot soldiers are out in force campaigning for Romney as the future King of the Kingdom!
The history of the church from Ohio to Missouri, to Illinois and to the Utah Territory in 1847 has been replete with overt sedition against the American Republic. Only the power of the Federal government suppressed it. The church has been waiting for history learned to be history forgotten so it can pull off its prophesied coup"d'état.
Romney has been careful to avoid telling the truth about his church membership and what his ordination as a High Priest of the Melchizedek priesthood subordinate to the Mormon Prophet means.
He will take orders from the church prophet to conduct the affairs of government. It is also likely that the church will designate him a literal descendent of King David possibly through the lineage of Jesus making Mitt the literal King of the earth with the right of succession to the throne of his oldest son, GOOD BYE AMERICAN PIE!
