Generally, I put Ann Coulter in the same category as maggots, the smell of vomit and other disgusting, retch-inducing things. You know, kind of the way she talks about liberals.

But she's written an article link here -- a very divisive article among right wingers, which I agree with. She' arguing that it's okay to question the afghan war. She's saying Obama boxed himself into a corner.

And she writes, "As Michael Steele correctly noted, every great power that's tried to stage an all-out war in Afghanistan has gotten its ass handed to it. Everyone knows it's not worth the trouble and resources to take a nation of rocks and brigands. "

It's hard to argue with that one. It's frustrating that Obama had to know it.

She makes her points in her usually ugly, nasty way, but she's saying it. Joe Scarborough agrees with her, that Republicans don't need to be the war party. Someone on Morning Joe suggesting a Ron Paul Joe Scarborough candidacy that would be anti-war.

Anti-war. Wouldn't it be strange if the Republicans fight to end the war?

But that's not so unlikely. Democrats have moved so far right, with a right winger in the whitehouse- Rahm Emanuel, who recruited many of the current bluedogs-- and Obama appointed banksters setting policy-- Summers and Geithner-- that we've already been living in upside down times.

What would you do if you were faced with voting for a bluedog chicken hawk or a Republican like Ron Paul, who opposed the war?
