On Feb 7th, 2013, Asian American Film Lab had an industry-spotlight event. Asian American Film Lab is a nonprofit that focuses on promoting diversity (racial and gender) in film and other media. The Industry Spotlight on the 7th focused on Caitlin Jones of Liz Lewis Casting. Ms. Jones came to this event to meet more actors of color and give them tip-up on the audition process. Ms. Jones casts for theatre, commercials, television, and film. She also teaches acting classes . In an effort to increase diversity, Ms. Jones is currently giving actors who are members of Asian American Film Lab 10% discounts for her classes.
