All the public attention to Michael Jackson's death should be an opportunity to distinguish between a great talent versus a great life. Those highly talented and creative persons in the arts and entertainment that merit our greatest respect are those that keep producing and contributing as they grow old, way past their peak success. Jackson died young and wasted half his life. Great talent? Of course, but not a great life.
