Sgt. Matthis Chiroux, who served in the US Army for five years, publicly refused to deploy to Iraq over a month ago. Now Matthis has set himself up for possible prosecution by failing to report for active duty with his unit in South Carolina. If he is prosecuted in court, Chiroux faces a range of possible punishments that include jail time, or even the Death Penalty. Amy Goodman sits down to talk with this brave young man.
