Prof. Cone from Union Theological Sem. in NYC posits that to come to grips with racism one must study the lynching tree & the cross. Choose the video to see two preachers, one black the other white who grew up 100 mi from each other. The transcript is also available. Dr. King started the conversation. After Jena 6 there is need to carry on.
