| Bush falsely claims that ethanol will reduce dependency on imported oil and cut unwanted 'greenhouse gas' emissions. His scheme to provide taxpayer subsidies for growing ethanol corn instead of feed corn is resulting in exploding food prices and disappearing food reserves. Yet, the truth is that net energy output from bio-ethanol fuel is less than the fossil fuel energy used to produce the ethanol. |
